ALBUM TIME TO STRIKE

LANEL Dying Victims Productions

OUT 24/4/2020

OUR RATING 88/100

This powerful power trio from Canada was out last year with an indipendent Ep entitled TIME STRIKE, reprinted by DYING VICTIM PRODUCTIONS on April 24th, 2020.

With a line up which consists of REPTILE ANDERSON on bass and vocals, STEVIE WHITELESS on guitar’s and vocals and PJ LA GRIFFE on drums, they unleashed a top level..beast, where the lessons from masters of seventies hard and heavy rock are mixed at best with the traditional HM of first years of 80’s.

The style is absolutely personal and you can feel it since first song entitled DEATH IS NEAR, with its embracing riff, enriched by roaring bass and by inspired solo part.

More lilting WHIPS AND CHAINS, with effective vocals, on high tones when it needs, closer to best seventies Hard Rock but, after many seconds, rhythm changes and all becomes pressing and there’s again space for an overflowing solo.

WITCHMAN, SORCERER OF SATAN starts with an instrumental intro before entering vocals; a long mighty and sinister march which holds attentions of the listeners until the end of the track.

If in DENIZEN OF HELL it’s clear the reference to 80’s classic HM, in HYMN TO THE HELL KNIGHTS, we can appreciate again changes of time which makes all interesting and unpredictable.

LUCIA, WARRIOR OF LIGHT, is an epic tune, in crescendo, an awesome ritual which takes us to the end in the best way.

TO SUGGEST...NO DOUBT!!
