OUR RATING 90/100
SAINTED SINNERS, german heavy rock band led by Bonfire guitarist Frank Pané, have announced the release of their third album, entitled “Unlocked & Reloaded”, due out on December 4th via El Puerto Records.
After two album with David Reece Official on vocals, the new platter is the first with new singer @Iacopo "Jack" Meille (Tygers Of Pan Tang, among others) on vocals.
The new line-up consists of abovementioned Frank Pané and Iacopo "Jack" Meille in addition to drummer Berci Hirleman, Rico Bowen on bass and Ernesto Ghezzi (Gotthard) on keyboards.
The album was mixed by Dick Dropkick at SpitFire Studio and mastered by Harry Hess (Harem Scarem, Danko Jones, Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper) while cover artwork was designed by Manfred Smietana / MS Art Design.
In addition to the CD itself, the album will also appear as a strictly limited edition 'wooden box' with a few surprises.
There are scheduled three release gigs in Germany:

This brilliant album is opened by SAME OL’ SONG, right now powerful and dynamic; smart heavy rock, enriched by amazing vocals of Jack and gorgeous solo parts divided between guitar and keyboards.
Following STANDING ON TOP starts flowing, rhythms are more shaded..classic hard rock really fancy!
In EARLY LIGHT OF DAY we can find a larger dose of melody, so eighties and closer to band’s such as HEAVY PETTIN, the whole thing enriched by iconic vocals of Jack .
40 YEARS grows second after second; a tune with many solutions where we can find the flavour of Van Halen in the guitar’s touch of Frank and a rich solo part.
They go on with THE HAMMER OF THE GODS where the soul of Zeppelin is absolutely present; acoustic guitar to open an awesome crescendo, well-groomed backing vocals..the outcome is maybe the our favorite song of the album.
Solid Hard Rock in FREE TO BE, with interesting keys inserts and funky drops; I CAN’T WAIT is a touching ballad where JACK once again is an added value.
STONE COLD SOBER starts with a keyboards/guitar intro and driving bass, reminding the inspiration of DEEP PURPLE and again they provide solo parts to remind.
Maybe a step behind CALL IT LOVE and WALL OF SOUND, which we consider to be good, before FAREWELL TO KINGS, a rich song which ends in the best way this awesome album.
