GARAGEDAYS - SOMETHING BLACK

BAND GARAGEDAYS

ALBUM SOMETHING BLACK

LABEL EL PUERTO RECORDS

OUT Nov 13th, 2020

OUR RATING 80/100

GARAGEDAYS from Austria are ready to unleash their 4th full-lenght, entitled SOMETHING BLACK, on Nov 13th via EL PUERTO RECORDS.

Garagedays has always left little to chance. While the last album was produced by Flemming Rasmussen (METALLICA!), Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND) takes over this part as co-producer on the fourth album. The unusual cover artwork comes from Jobert "Mello" (Sledgehammer Graphix), who was able to

show his skills at Sabaton and Primal Fear, among others.

Ten songs in this new platter opened by BACK IN LINE, a great example of metallized rock’n’roll, fresh and classic at the same time.

In the title track all becomes heavier, they run strong and pressing, enhanced by a brilliant solo; AND AGAIN and I BE THERE (FOR YOU) are more squared, truly rich of teutonic vibes.

More lilting following OUT OF CONTROL and there’s space for a ballad entitled MY OWN WAY.

They go on with strong THE CALLING and brilliant TO MY SOUL, while in NEW HOME all sounds great, a song with a great texture which you’ll appreciate.

Strong WALKING DEAD is the track which ends in the best way this great platter.

SURELY..TO SUGGEST!!
