OUR RATING 84/100

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is ready to unleash Australian GALAXY’s debut album, entitled “On the Shore of Life”, available on CD and vinyl LP formats on Nov 19th, 2021.

“Lost From the Start”, their debut EP, was released in l2019 by DYING VICTIMS too, was a nod to the speed and traditional heavy metal of the 1980s, replete with the furious riffs and high-octane vocals one would demand from the genre.

Stu Callinan (who handles all guitars and bass) and vocalist / lyricist Phillip T. King are joined on the recording by legendary drummer and Simon Phillips , well known for his previous experiences with Judas Priest, MSG, The Who and Jeff Beck.

His special guest-performance has given an amazing touch; an album that marks a clear step forward for the band.

BRIGHT STARS is the first shot that remains influences from first Judas Priest with vocals on different ranges, embracing riffing, interesting structures.

In mid tones following VALENTINE, a great blend of Traditional HM and Heavy Rock with a dark touch, while we prefer the second part, faster, of GEMINI.

More thoughtful DAUGHTER IN THE DISTANCE and closer to Traditional HM BARGAINING.

FIRELIGHT PALAVER, after a drum roll, is another brilliant classic HM song.

They go on with an interlude that opens WE ENTER..that ends in the best way a brilliant album..

A band to keep an eye on!!
