Everyday Heroes are a band coming from South Wales, but listening to this this album maybe you should think to have landed in Texas or Alabama.
Their forthcoming debut album ‘A Tale of Sin and Sorrow' will be available on June 5th, 2020.
To co-incide with the announcment, the band have premiered a music video for new track 'Standing Stones' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYBcNSEz6S0
“A Tale of Sin & Sorrow' sees the four piece delivering an interesting full length following 2016's self titled introduction, and 2017's 'The Other Side of Nowhere' EPS.
The new album follows several shows and festivals including sharing stages with Thunder, The Darkness, The Answer, Stone Broken, plus live festivals Steelhouse, Hard Rock Hell, HRH Roadtrip, Wildfire Festival, Winter Storm, Call of the Wild, Rock N' Roll Circus, and more.
'A Tale of Sin and Sorrow' was recorded and produced at the Boneyard Recording Studio (Dream State, Buffalo Summer) in Neath by Andrew Francis and Phil Humphreys.
Really interesting since first song TEXAS RED, with its right mix of southern and heavy blues, learning the lesson of harder ZZTOP and more contemporary Black Stone Cherry.
Strong and self-confident, with solo parts well-groomed, in FIND MY WAY are more rockin’, while in STANDING STONES are stronger reminding at times the mood of Zakk Wylde and BLS.
Brilliant next THE WITCH’S KING, which grows second after song, stronger in the second slice.
SOUL TO SAVE sounds good with a good musicality and another confirms come from VICTORIS (TAKE MY CHAINS).
We continue with ALL OUTTA FAITH, with its scratchy southern hard rock, while THE CROW provides different solutions, such as melody, a fancy arpeggio and a cappella vocals part.
BREATHE AGAIN is more direct, under three mins length, while WEST OF FOREVER is more squared and powerful.
The last shot is WITHOUT A TRONE, which reminds the heavy blues mood of best Joe Bonamassa , before exploding in a gorgeous solo.
SOUTHERN - SOUTH WALES ROCK..YES, TO SUGGEST!!
