ALBUM MAN OR MACHINE
LABEL PURE STEEL RECORDS
OUR RATING 88/100
With "Man Or Machine", Cleveland's cult act WRETCH continues their most productive history with PURE STEEL RECORDS.
Let's start from the end: a real bomb and we're sure that every metal fans will find somethin'great in this album because its style is not easy to be classified!
The first shot is the title track that hits us with its pressin' drums, with its Maiden's flavour, its roaring bass and guitar solos here and then always to remind.
DESTROYER OF WORLDS keeps going but it's able to be fancy and dark at the same time, while SCHWARZENBERG is noted for instrumental parts really remarkables.
STEELER is more classic, one of our favs, surely son of PRIESTS..compelling from the start to the end!
If STRIKE FORCE ONE exalts also the power metal soul of the band, mixed with exciting runaways,
REQUIEM AETERNAM is a classic but wider song that opens the mighty THE INQUISITOR TRILOGY.
The last gem is an hidden song, an acoustic version of the title track.
LASTLY: ONE OF OUR PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS OF 2019..SURELY!
