LABEL HighVolMusic (MRi/Sony, Cargo)

RATING 81/100 Well-known HARD ROCK band from Memphis EVERY MOTHER'S NIGHTMARE is ready to release their forthcoming full-length album 'Grind', on October 6, 2017 via HighVolMusic (MRi/Sony, Cargo). "Grind" features a total of 11 tracks. The CD contains the five tracks from the self-released EP, originally published in 2015, three brand new studio tracks and three new live tracks recorded from the band's performance in Memphis, TN on August 21st, 2016. This project also features appearances by Jim Dandy (The Jim Dandy) guest vocals on "Stand Up", Wayne Swinny (Saliva) guitar on "Snake", and Zach Myers (Shinedown) guitar on "Crazy".

Let's begin sayin' that we're satisfied about this new release; EMN is a band with big experience of 30 years in music business and great attitude.

LOCO CRAZY is a smart dip in the 80's with drops of modernity; a "dusty" song in the right way with, in our opinion, Slash's VELVET REVOLVER style.

SNAKE goes on with its left arrow and its amazing solo; UPPER HAND is on the same line of LOCO CRAZY before BLOWN AWAY, which begins in a more relaxed way before developing itself in a great american hard rock song (maybe the best track?).

SACRED CIRCLE is the right continuation of previous song, alternating sparkling and quieter moments.

DAYS ARE THROUGH contains more melodic drops for an high level ballad.

More power in the beginning of STAND UP..GUITAR, VOICE, DRUMS, BASS GUITAR..this is rock'n'roll! Not least the 8th song called SWING.

Three classics live close this album.

Welcome back EMN!
