BON JOVI 3/31/2017 Wells Fargo Arena Philadelphia, PA USA
Bon Jovi performed a tremendous show in front of an almost sold out crowd in Philly. Jon and the boys performed for about 2 hours, and 25 songs in total. I love the new album, This House is Not for Sale and he opened with the title track of the same name. It was high energy and the crowd loved it. They played a total of 7 songs off the new album. Stand outs for me were "God Bless This Mess" and "We Don't Run". I would like to hear more songs like We Don't Run in the future since it has a harder edge to it. I think a lot of life long fans want them to get back to their heavier rock roots. At the end of the night the last 8 songs were all the hits, which the crowd loved. "Wanted Dead or Alive" was performed perfectly and the whole crowd was singing along to the last song of the night, "Livin' on a Prayer" .
The crowd was a good mix of young and old. Which shows you're never too young or too old to be a Bon Jovi fan!! I will end this review by saying that it's still very tough to watch them without Richie. He's such an integral part of the band and is still missed very much. I think I can safely say that many of us hope they work things out and they come back together to tour again.
