After our review about drummers of WHITESNAKE, today it's the right turn for bass players. And we can tell about only top bass players! The first was Neil Murray, involved in all WS' releases from SNAKEBITE (1978) to SAINTS & SINNERS (1982), before rejoining the band for SLIDE IT IN (US Reissue), and WHITESNAKE (1987). In SLIDE IT Colin Hodgkinson replace NEIL MURRAY while in SLIP OF THE TONGUE (1989) we saw amazing RUDY SARZO (1987-1990/1994). In REATLESS HEART (1997) GUY PR
In the history of WHITESNAKE, several amazing musicians hit skins of the drums of the band. The first was DAVE DOWLE, sawn on TROUBLE and LOVEHUNTER, till IAN PAICE (READY AN' WILLING, COME AN' GET IT, SAINTS & SINNERS) was in, who reunited Deep Purple's mates DAVID COVERDALE and JON LORD. Next was the turn of COZY POWELL (on SLIDE IT IN), ANSLEY DUNBAR (1987), TOMMY ALDRIDGE (SLIP OF THE TONGUE and THE PURPLE ALBUM), DENNY CARMASSI (RESTLESS HEART), CHRIS FRAZIER (GOOD TO BE

SAINTS & SINNERS is the 5th studio full-lenght by Whitesnake, out in1982. It peaked in those days at number 9 on the UK Albums Chart. The recording process began in 1981, after the end of the Come an' Get It tour. However, tension within the band was beginning to appear.
Moody quit the band in late 1981. Coverdale was not happy about the financial situation of the band and decided to fire their manager John Coletta well-known as Deep Purple's manager from 1968 to 1976. Afte
