The first solo album by BLACK SABBATH's riffmaster TONY IOMMI, took nearly five years to make. All songs were written by Iommi, producer Bob Marlette and the respective singers of each track (except "Black Oblivion", written by Iommi and Billy Corgan). Iommi's career is linked to his time in Black Sabbath, a band he led from its formation in 1968 to its semi-retirement in 1999. A number of musicians associated with Black Sabbath appear on Iommi.

Fused is the 2nd solo album by Tony Iommi, published in 2005. This album features as vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (who was vocalist for Black Sabbath on the album Seventh Star, originally intended to be Iommi's first solo album) and Kenny Aronoff as drummer.
This platter was recorded in Wales, in December 2004, and was produced by Bob Marlette (who also played here keyboards and bass) and Iommi. TRACKLIST

The album's US import was released in Japan on 24 April 2009, four days earlier than its original due date of 28 April.
The Japan pressing which is a SHM-CD (Super High Material CD) was released on 27 April.
It was produced by the band and sound engineer Mike Exeter.
