Raymond Arthur "Ray" Gillen (May 12, 1959 – December 1, 1993) was a not forgotten singer-songwriter, known for his work with Badlands and Black Sabbath.

The first solo album by BLACK SABBATH's riffmaster TONY IOMMI, took nearly five years to make. All songs were written by Iommi, producer Bob Marlette and the respective singers of each track (except "Black Oblivion", written by Iommi and Billy Corgan). Iommi's career is linked to his time in Black Sabbath, a band he led from its formation in 1968 to its semi-retirement in 1999. A number of musicians associated with Black Sabbath appear on Iommi.
Track 9 features Ozzy Osbou
The album title and its concept allude to Norse mythology. In Norse mythology, Týr is the god of single combat and heroic glory and it's and the son of Odin.
This album shows the most clear departure from band's trademark sound, with some drops of it in some riffs. Their music here is darker than previous works. Geezer Butler, Ian Gillan and Brian May made guest appearances on the European leg of the TYR tour; Butler and May appearing during the encore of the show performe

BAND APPICE ALBUM SINISTER OUT 2017 (Oct 27th) LABEL SPV OUR RATING 83/100 After two amazing careers in hard’n’heavy world, finally It's the time for a project that involves the APPICE BROTHERS. Stop..It's a project but not only in studio but also LIVE! And, in our opinion, this is very important in a time where more and more frequently we're being invaded from a lot of only studio's bands without heart and with musicians that, maybe, know each other only through e-mail or sk
