MECHANIX is the 10th studio album by UFO, released in 1982. After the "Mechanix Tour", founding member and Pete Way left the band to join "Fast" Eddie Clarke in Fastway. UFO - "NO PLACE TO RUN" times...
NO PLACE TO RUN is the 8th studio album by the UFO, out in 1980 via Chrysalis Records. It was the first album featuring Paul Chapman, who replaced Michael Schenker on lead guitar. The album was produced by George Martin. The record cover was issued in several versions in the UK, with different colours of the album title. STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT (with original subtitle A Double Live Album) is a live album by UFO, released in 1979 via Chrysalis. This double LP album was recorded in autumn 1978 at shows in Chicago, Illinois and Louisville, Kentucky. This was UFO's last concert recording with Michael Schenker as lead guitarist reunion in 1993. MISDEMEANOR is the 12th studio album by UFO. After "Making Contact" Tour, band disbanded, with Phil Mogg that in Los Angeles contacted guitarist Atomik Tommy M.. Mogg decided to start with a new line up, involving also Paul Gray, who played bass in the last UFO tour. Next were recruited Paul Raymond and drummer Robbie France. UFO - "LIGHTS OUT" times..
LIGHTS OUT is the 6th studio album by the UFO, out in 1977 . It contains all original tracks except one song, "Alone Again Or", cover of a song by the band Love. This album was the first by UFO to feature string arrangements and complex structures. The most relevant song to feature the orchestral flavour was "Love to Love". UFO - a real "PHENOMENON"..
Phenomenon was the 3rd studio album by UFO and the first out through Chrysalis label. UFO largely left "space rock" sound, thanks to the presence of Michael Schenker. The platter was produced by Leo Lyons, well known as bass player of Ten Years After and it was recorded at Morgan Studios in London. The original cover and photos were made by Hipgnosis.
